There’s a new freeware program called Aid4Mail MBOX Converter that is much easier to use and more complete than the mbox2eml tool in IMAPSize. It’s available from here:

How does one achieve this transfer of mail from Thunderbird to Outlook 2007 on Windows 7? Win7 does not include Windows Mail or Outlook Express…..

use SmartSave Thunderbird Extension 0.1.5.2.
export mail as EML files
drag mail into Vista Windows Mail
Import Windows Mail into Outlook 2007

How old is this article. I wish people would display the dates of their articles by default. Anyway, Outlook 2007 can import Eudora mail and contacts without jumping through the hoops you mention above. Although it does a bad job of importing the outbox. How? Let’s see… Choose “Import Internet Mail and Addresses”. If your eudora is not in the eudora install directory you’ll have to use the mklink command (in vista… not sure if it’s in xp) to fake outlook out.

Any suggestions for Windows Vista and Outlook 2007 users?

Vista no longer has Outlook Express, only Windows Mail, and it does not import Eudora files.
